昨日下午三時，「淫照」事件主角陳冠希返香港「交代」，他以英文宣讀聲明，不設問答，完成近 6 分鐘的演說後，由 200 多名警員築起人牆，以元首級式護駕，保送陳冠希離開會場，返回其山頂住所。有報章說，警方今次以壓倒性超過在場採訪記者的人數，全天候阻擋傳媒接近，對陳進行皇室式貼身保護唯恐不及，期間連番封路及阻截記者追訪，與國家領導人訪港不遑多讓。暫不評論警方的小題大作，因為由開始至現在，整件事本身已是如此，當市民不覺大驚小怪之際，那些自以為旗下女星是受害者的大集團，率先炒大，導致今次事件擾攘香港近 1 個月之久。

陳冠希的道歉聲明，相信不用多說，每份本港中英報章亦有刊登，他這次的公開發言，比阿嬌那一次認真有餘而誠懇不足，可能是因為他覺得自己也是受害者，而且照片相對外國的色情影帶、日本的同類照片及電影，實屬小兒科，何故要道歉？唯一的解釋，是這事件發生在香港；而香港被大財閥控制，上至特首，下至升斗市民，全要看大財閥做人。一不小心弄得他們的愛犬、寵妾花容失色時，便全城為他們賣命，四處捉拿犯人，然後在傳媒上大展口才，把歪理變成道理，真理都在他們一方就是，毋須答辯，做戲做到底，總之要令「大老爺」滿意為止。身在這個社會，即使同是受害者，卻非「大老爺」寵宦亦是難逃一死。

經過「淫照」事件一役，從社會輿論的評價、市民的反應、高官的發言、警方的行動、事件中人的舉止，我真的獲益良多︰香港是一畸形社會，無知的高官是看著「大老爺」的面色行事，指使一眾無能的警方展開連串為「財」請命的行動，以致部分看不過眼的貧民反應過激，跟他們一起玩著捉迷藏遊戲。最後，事件中人眼見形勢險峻，影響伫途，不得不天真地裝傻扮懵，勇敢地站出來向全港市民說聲抱歉，希望能胡混過去，好讓事件平息下來。「淫照」事件能否就此告一段落仍是未知之數，不過可以肯定的說，眾事件中人毋須提心吊膽和失落，因香港市民絕大部分都是善忘，不用多久便可不了了之；當然，私人家事則另作別論，而且閣下自理，但香港市民始終會關心事件中人的結局是怎樣，皆因看戲不追看到底，確實不夠圓滿！

A sex tape scandal involving Hong Kong pop star Edison Chen is being called the equivalent of the 9/11 disaster for the Hong Kong entertainment industry.

Apparently, Mr. Chen loved to film and photograph his sexual exploits with a number of Hong Kong's leading ladies and stored the juicy footage on his computer. He took said computer in for repairs and, gasp, someone stole the explicit materials off the machine.

Not good for the Hong Kong entertainment industry as it's 'virginal' starlets make them bank. And now Chen has dirtied up some of the prettys.

It's also reported that the mob in Hong Kong is heavily invested in the HK entertainment industry and are upset about the effect this is having on business. They are offering $500K to anyone who hacks off Chen's hands.

Yikes.

Actually, he's Canadian born and raised. From what I heard he left Hong Kong and is back in Canada.
If it interests you: Edison Chen is considered one of THE biggest pricks in the Hong Kong music/movie industry. There are LOTS and LOTS of folks who are very happy over his present demise and unlike in Hollywood, this does NOT make you hotter in HongKong. He won't live this down…even if he lives.

Perez…you shouldn't call him a perv…He shouldn't be held 100% accountable for this “scandal.” YES, it's his fault the photos got stolen, but the girls are at fault too. They were willing to let him take the photos. They were trying to argue that he used spy cams, but it's so obvious that they knew what was happening. Why else would you be staring into the camera? The majority of HK “actresses/singers” are a huge joke. They are terrible actors and singers. They act innocent all the time, though we know they sleep around to maintain their celebrity status, or to get their “roles,” or to get a wealthy man to “take care” of them…
